At the Amaranth Centre we offer our patients psychotherapeutic help to reduce suffering, recover from difficulties and to achieve significant lasting personal growth.
All our practitioners are experts in a wide variety of contemporary psychotherapy approaches across the whole spectrum of problems and disorders. We can help with personality difficulties and adjustment problems, Anxiety, Depression, Trauma and other Stress related disorders, Loss and Grief, relationship and attachment issues. Our approach is patient centred and trauma informed. Consultation and treatment are by appointment only with a referral from your doctor. A Mental Health Plan will be developed during the assessment with our practitioners and is not required from your GP. Our services for assessments, treatment reviews, briefer as well as long term psychotherapies are all rebateable by Medicare. Your individual problems and needs will be thoroughly assessed and a clinically determined treatment approach will be worked out together. That means that your treatment will be covered under Medicare and unlike other approaches will not be unnecessarily restricted in frequency or duration. |

The Amaranth Centre in the heart of Sydney’s CBD has been providing psychotherapy, psychiatric and psychological help for over three decades.
We are the largest and longest established group practice of this type in NSW.
We are a group of multi-cultural, highly trained expert clinicians available to provide a full range of services to individual adults and couples.
Amaranth is located close to Sydney Town Hall and Museum stations and all transport in a comfortable and tranquil setting that most importantly offers privacy & confidentiality.
Our group of practitioners hold highest level specialist qualifications and maintain demanding standards in Medicine, Psychiatry, Psychology and Psychotherapy.
Our services for assessments, briefer as well as long term psychotherapies are rebateable by Medicare.
